The total incidence per 10, 000 population was 46.80 (during the week 51 the incidence was 91.85). From a total of 378,212 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1,770 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 51 they were 3,474).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (218.08 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (95.95 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Montana (140.63), Pazardjik (133.93), Smolyan (128.69), Stara Zagora (124.28) and Targovishte (148.90).

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was higher than medium during week No 51 (17.12.2007 - 23.12.2007). The total incidence per 10, 000 population and was 91.85 (during the week 50 the incidence was 104.02). From a total of 378,212 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,474 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 50  they were 3,934).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (406.81 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (199.26 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Montana (187.51), Pazardjik (177.26), Silistra (186.37), Smolyan (156.94), Sofia region (176.58), Stara Zagora (169.47) and Targovishte (148.90).

The total incidence per 10, 000 population increase and was 104.02 (during the week 49  the incidence was 93.55). From a total of 378,212 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,934 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 49  they were 3,538).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (474.71 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (210.74 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Kardjali (160.51), Pazardjik (190.39), Silistra (160.84), Sofia region (228.51) and Stara Zagora (164.52).

The total incidence per 10, 000 population was 93.55 (during the week 48 the incidence was 98.89). From a total of 378,212 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,538 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 48  they were 3,740). The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (415.44 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (194.60 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Kardjali (153.91), Pazardjik (228.47) and Haskovo (208.05).

From a total of 378,444 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,549 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 46 they were 3,390).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (408.87 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (202.49 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Kardjali (193.49), Pazardjik (190.39), Sofia oblast (190.86) and Haskovo (289.51).

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria is medium during week No 46 (12.11.2007 - 18.11.2007). The total incidence per 10, 000 population increase and was 89.49 (during the week 45 the incidence was 74.10). From a total of 378,827 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,390 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 45 they were 2,989).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (407.03 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (180.21 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Kardjali (184.7), Pazardjik (136.55), Silistra (135.31), Smolyan (150.66), Sofia oblast (225.92), Stara Zagora (179.35) and Haskovo (196.77).

The total incidence per 10, 000 population slightly increase and was 74.10 (during the week 44 the incidence was 45.29). From a total of 403,361 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2, 989 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 44 they were 2,666).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (375.84 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (135.16 per 10,000).  The highest incidence has been reported in: Vratsa (122.40), Kardjali (164.91), Pazardjik (136.55), Sliven (138.70), Smolyan (219.71)and Targovishte (120.17).

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria remains low during week No 44 (29.10.2007 - 04.11.2007). The total incidence per 10, 000 population was 45.29 (during the week 43 the incidence was 46.20). From a total of  588,626  persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2,666 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 43  they were 3,187).   The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (263.56 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (76.32 per 10,000).  The incidence, higher than the country average, has been reported in: Vratsa (105.63), Gabrovo (97.50), Pazardjik (94.54), Razgrad (96.96), Targovishte (161.96) and Haskovo (122.53).

From a total of 689,847 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,187  ARI cases have been reported (during the week 42  they were 3,208  ).  The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (233.71 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (72.87 per 10,000).  The incidence, higher than the country average, has been reported in: Vratsa (109.86), Gabrovo (115.47), Pazardjik (80.09) and Smolyan (98.82).

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria remains low during week No 42 (15.10.2007 - 21.10.2007). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 46.50 (during the week 41 the incidence was 47.62). From a total of 689,847 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3,208 ARI cases have been reported (during the week 41 they were 3,285). The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (246.28 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (82.62 per 10,000). The incidence, higher than the country average, has been reported in: Vratsa (98.59), Gabrovo (104.56), Pazardjik (99.79) and Smolyan (90.57).
