Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was slowly increased during week No 46 (12.11.2012 -18.11.2012) and the total incidence per 10,000 population was 102.49 (during week No 45 the incidence was 86.45 ). From a total of 382,268 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  3 918 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 45 the cases were 3 304 ). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (408.90 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (296.85 per 10,000). The highest incidence has been reported in: Sliven(208.47) and Yambol (163.38).

During week No 46 totally of 3 samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR. Positive results have not been detected.
