Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was higher than medium during week No 51 (15.12.2014 -21.12.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 106.05 (during week No 50 the incidence was 117.03). From a total of 384 354 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 4076 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 50 the cases were 4498). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (503.18 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (302.56 per 10,000).
