Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria  was low during week No 52 (21.12.2015-27.12.2015).   The total incidence  per 10,000 population was 65.69(during week No 51 the incidence was 105.47). From a total of 384 309 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2522 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 51 the cases were 4049). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (310.50 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (171.83 per 10,000).

Information from National Reference Laboratory of Influenza and Acute Respiratory Infections at NCIPD: During week No 52 totally of 15 samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR.  Positive results have not been detected.
