During week 13 of 2026 (March 23-29, 2026), 3,012 cases of acute respiratory infections and influenza were reported among a monitored population of 347,913 people, representing an incidence rate of 86.57 per 10,000 population. During the previous week, 3,057 cases were reported (an incidence rate of 87.87 per 10,000 population). The national average incidence rate has remained nearly unchanged from week 12, but a slight decrease has been observed. The Varna region reports an increase above the average incidence rate; all other regions report average or low levels, but with changes in trends compared to the previous week-with an increase in cases in some regions and a decrease or stabilization of indicators in others.

The incidence rate in the pediatric age groups is higher than the figures from the previous week: in the 0-4 age group, it is 464.84 per 10,000 population, and in the 5-14 age group, it is 284.44 per 10,000 population.
