In week 37 of 2026 (7-13 September 2026), 700 cases of acute respiratory infections and influenza were recorded amongst a monitored population of 347,913 people, representing an incidence rate of 20.12 per 10,000 population. In the previous week, 671 cases were recorded (an incidence rate of 19.29 per 10,000 population). The average incidence rate for the country is close to the level seen in previous weeks. The incidence rate in all age groups is low. Data on influenza and acute respiratory infections (ARI) for the week show lower levels than those recorded during the same period last year. During the week, no influenza viruses were isolated at the national reference laboratory for influenza and ARI.
