Week No 47

Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was  increased during week No 47  (18.11.2013 - 24.11.2013) and the total incidence per 10,000 population was 90.00 (during week No 46 the incidence was 90.36). From a total of 380 540 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3 425 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 46 the cases were 3 436). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (445.89 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (252.15 per 10,000).
