Week No 42

Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria  was increased during week No 42 (12.10.2015-18.10.2015).   The total incidence  per 10,000 population was 62.96(during week No 41 the incidence was 53.86). From a total of 384 347 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2420 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 41 the cases were 2070). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (279.60 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (171.59 per 10,000).
