Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria increased during week No 39 (26.09.2016-02.10.2016).  The total incidence per 10,000 population was 44.87
(during week No 38 the incidence was 24.88). From a total of 383 902 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1722 ARI cases have
been reported (during week No 38 the cases were 955). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (204.52per 10,000 population), followed by
age group of 5-14 yrs (126.81 per 10,000).
