During the week No 4 (24.01.2022 - 30.01.2022) a slight decrease of the intensity of ARI and influenza cases is observed in Bulgaria by comparison with  the previous week (17.01.2022 - 23.01.2022). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 102,69 (during week No 3 the incidence was 123,20   ). From a total of  379 796 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  3900 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 3 the cases were 4679). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (354.01 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (269,87 per 10,000 population). Influenza A/H3N2 was proved in 9 samples sent to the NRL "Flu and ARI"/NCIPD .
