During the week No 5(31.01.2022 - 06.02.2022)  the intensity of ARI and influenzа in Bulgaria was decreasing by comparison with  the previous week (24.01.2022 - 30.01.2022) . The total incidence per 10,000 population was  85,94 (during week No 4 the incidence was 102,69    ). From a total of  374 579 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  3219 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 4 the cases were 3900). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (299.82 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (176, 96 per 10,000 population). Data entry from one region (Gabrovo) was not performed.   A total of 195 samples sent to the NRL "Flu and ARI"/NCIPD  were tested for influenza  without virus detection.
