During the week No 40 (03.10.2022- 09.10.2022 )  the intensity of ARI and influenzа in Bulgaria shows an increase compared to previous weeks. The total incidence per 10,000 population was   54,05 (during week No 39 the incidence was   49,52). From a total of  376 719 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  2036 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 39 the cases were 1881 ). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (252,08 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (165,43 per 10,000 population). The incidence is increasing in all age groups. No influenza viruses detected. Weekly data from Silistra district are not presented.
