During the week No 42 (17.10.2022- 23.10.2022 )  the total incidence per 10,000 population was   59,24 (during week No 41 the incidence was   58,03). From a total of   379 623 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  2249 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 41 the cases were 2204 ). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (251,97 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (180,93 per 10,000 population).  The incidence of ARI in the country is within the usual seasonal range. By districts, the incidence is also within the usual seasonal range, with the exception of 6 districts (Lovech, Gabrovo, Razgrad, Shumen, Haskovo and Burgas), which have seen an increase in the intensity of the spread of ARI.  No influenza viruses have been confirmed.
