During the week No 45 (07.11.2022- 13.11.2022 )  the total incidence per 10,000 population was  98,02 (during week No 44 the incidence was  79,57). From a total of   372 985 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  3656 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 44 the cases were  2972 ). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (456,71 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (274,14 per 10,000 population).  Increases in incidence are reported in all age groups, but are particularly marked in the under-4 age group. The incidence of ARI in the country is within the usual seasonal range, but in the districts of Gabrovo, Razgrad and Varna the incidence data show a significant increase in the intensity of respiratory disease prevalence. No influenza viruses have been proven, but other causative agents of respiratory infections- adenoviruses, RSV and other viruses have been isolated.
