During the week No 48 (28.11.2022- 04.12.2022 )  the total incidence per 10,000 population was   117,26 (during week No 47 the incidence was    115,54). From a total of   373 025 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  4374 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 47 the cases were  4310). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (560,97 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (362,94 per 10,000 population).  Increases in incidence are reported in all age groups. The incidence of ARI in the country is within the usual seasonal range, but in the districts of Pazardjik, Smolyan and Varna  the incidence data show a significant increase in the intensity of respiratory disease prevalence.  No influenza viruses have been proven, but other causative agents of respiratory infections-  RSV (12) and other viruses (5) have been isolated.
