In week No. 51 of 2022 (19.12.2022- 25.12.2022), the overall incidence rate for the country is 102.33 per 10,000 people (the previous week was 120.93). Among the total 373,025 persons of all age groups monitored in the 51st week of 2022, 3817 cases of ARI were recorded (previous week 4511 ). The highest incidence was in the age group 0-4 years (441.61) followed by the age group 5-14 years (305.39).   The data on the incidence of ARI in the last week show that in fourteen districts of the country the prevalence of ARI is still within the usual seasonal range and low levels of incidence are reported, while in the remaining fourteen districts of the country the epidemic process is on the rise, reaching high levels close to epidemic levels in the districts of Shumen, Pazardzhik, Varna and Plovdiv.
