In week №11 (13.03.2023 - 19.03.2023), the level of intensity of the epidemic process of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARD) was medium, with an overall incidence rate of 104.44 per 10 000 people, slightly decreasing compared to the previous week (110.15 per 10 000). Among the total 373,025 persons of all age groups monitored in the 11th week of 2023, 3,896 cases of ARI were recorded (previous week 4,109). The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 ys (414.71 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-19 ys old (320.65 per 10,000).
In the NRL "Influenza and ARI" during the period 164 samples were tested, of which 12 were positive for influenza A/H1N1(2009) and 40 positive for influenza B/Victoria. Influenza viruses A/H1N1(2009) have been detected in 8 samples, B/Victoria in 30 samples of children under 5 years of age tested. Other causative agents of respiratory infections- adenoviruses (8), respiratory syncytial and other viruses were isolated (12).
