During the week No.23 (05.06.2023 - 11.06.2023) the level of intensity of the epidemic process of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARD) is low, with an overall incidence of 37.69 per 10 000 people (34.93 per 10 000 people in the previous week). Among the total 373 272 persons of all age groups monitored in the 23th week of 2023, 1 407 cases of ARI were recorded (previous week 1 304). The highest incidence was in the age group 0-4 years (162.52) followed by the age group 5-14 years (99.39).

The Influenza and ARI NRL tested 10 samples during the period, of which none tested positive for influenza.  In children up to 5 years of age, 8 samples were tested - 1 sample was found to have circulating PIV and 5 samples was found to have circulating AdV viruses.
