In week 42 ( 16.10.2023- 22.10.2023), the level of intensity of the epidemic process of influenza and acute respiratory infections (ARI) was maintained compared to the previous week, with an overall incidence of 62.55 per 10 000 people (63.22 per 10 000 people for the previous week).
Among the total 373,272 persons of all age groups observed in the 42nd week of 2023, 2,335 cases of ARI were recorded (2,360 in the previous week).
The incidence in the age group 0-4 years was 232.01 followed by the age group 5-14 years (166.72). Increase in incidence was recorded in all age groups.
No influenza viruses were isolated.
