In the Influenza and ARI NRL, 57 clinical samples of ARI patients were simultaneously tested for influenza A/B and SARS-CoV-2 viruses by Real Time PCR. 9 A(H1N1)pdm09 influenza viruses, 13 A(H3N2)influenza viruses, 54 influenza B/Victoria viruses were detected.
RSV (in 16 samples), adenovirus (in 4 samples), and other respiratory viruses in 7 samples were demonstrated in 161 clinical samples of children under 5 years of age additionally tested for non-influenza respiratory viruses.
Combinations of respiratory viruses were evidenced in single cases of the tested samples, i.e., the patients had mixed infections.
