In the 16th week of 2025 (14.04.-20.04.2025), 1 653 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza were recorded among a surveillance population of 346 560 people, representing an incidence rate of 47.70 per 10 000 population. The national incidence rate decreased compared to the previous week (2 042 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza among a surveillance population of 346 739 people, an incidence rate of 58.92 per 10 000 population).  The overall national incidence and the incidence by age group reached the values normally observed for the season. In district towns, the level of intensity of the epidemic process is low or decreasing towards low.
