During the 39th week of 2025 (September 22-28, 2025), 1,237 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza were registered among a monitored population of 306,140 people, representing an incidence rate of 40.41 per 10,000 population. At the time of writing, the weekly data from the Regional Health Inspectorates in Plovdiv and Sliven had not been entered into the information system.

For the previous week, 1,145 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza were registered among a monitored population of 346,560 people, representing an incidence rate of 33.04 per 10,000 population.

The incidence rate for the country and by age group is increasing, but is within the normal range for the season.
