Twenty-nine samples were tested at the national reference laboratory for influenza and acute respiratory infections. Influenza virus A(H3N2) was detected in one sample. PIV(2) and other (11) respiratory viruses were isolated in samples tested from children under 5 years of age.

During week 45 of 2025, 2,905 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza were registered among a monitored population of 346,619 people, representing an incidence rate of 83.81 per 10,000 population. During the previous week, 1,911 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza were registered among a monitored population of 346,434 people, representing an incidence rate of 55.16 per 10,000 population. The incidence rate for the country and by age group has increased compared to the previous week. The incidence rate in the 0-4 age group is 351.03 per 10,000 population, and in the 5-14 age group it is 212.14 per 10,000 population.
