In the eighth week of 2025 ( 17-23.02.2025), 4 144 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza were recorded among a surveillance population of 346 739 people, representing an incidence rate of 119.51 per 10 000 population. The national incidence rate for the previous week was 118.56 per 10 000 population (4 111 cases of acute respiratory diseases and influenza recorded ). The overall morbidity rate remained stable compared to the previous week, while the morbidity rate in the three age groups 0-29 years was slightly elevated (in the age group 0-4 years, in week 8 - 488.62 per 10 000 population ; in week 7 - 449.46 per 10 000 population ; in age group 5-14 years in week 8 -340.59 per 10 000 population ; in week 7- 329.03 per 10 000 population). In the age groups above 30 years of age, a slight decrease in the indicator was observed.

During the week , 89 clinical specimens of patients with ARI were simultaneously tested for influenza A/B and SARS-CoV-2 viruses by Real Time PCR in the Influenza and ARI NRL: 4 A(H1N1)pdm09 influenza viruses, 8 A(H3N2)influenza viruses, 17 influenza B/Victoria viruses were detected.
