Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was higher than medium  during week No 47 (21.11.2011 - 27.11.2011) the total incidence per 10,000 population was 105.27 (during week No 45 the incidence was 102.04 ). From a total of 380,886 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  4 003 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 46  the cases were 3 880). The incidence is highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (499.07 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (307.56 per 10,000). The highest incidence has been reported in: Vidin (190.94), Silistra (176.71), Sofia-region (189.91), Haskovo (176.63) and Yambol (176.23)

During week No 47 totally of 18 samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR. Positive results have not been detected.
