Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria has decreased during week No 21 (21.05.2012 - 27.05.2012) and the total incidence per 10,000 population was 31.16 (during week No 20 the incidence was 43.60). From a total of 380,239 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 185 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 20  the cases were 1 658). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (173.26 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (97.69 per 10,000).
