Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria has decreased during week No 15 (09.04.2012 - 15.04.2012) and the total incidence per 10,000 population was 46.23 (during week No 14 the incidence was 61.93). From a total of 380,239 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of  1 758 ARI cases have been reported (during week No14 the cases were 2 355). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (255.88 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (125.43 per 10,000).

During week No 15 totally of 5  samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR. Positive results have not been detected.
