Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 17 (21.04.2014 - 27.04.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 44.48 (during week No 16 the incidence was 47.06 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 693  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 16 the cases were 1 791). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (221.50 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (121.87  per 10,000).
