Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 18 (28.04.2014 - 04.05.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 28.67 (during week No 17 the incidence was 44.48 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 091  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 17 the cases were 1 693). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (158.44 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (71.83  per 10,000).
