Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 19 (05.04.2014 - 11.05.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 35.47 (during week No 18 the incidence was 28.67 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 350  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 18  the cases were 1 091). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (186.00 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (87.18  per 10,000).
