Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 20 (12.05.2014 - 18.05.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 38.76 (during week No 19 the incidence was 35.47 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 475  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 19  the cases were 1 350). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (204.02 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (96.39  per 10,000).
