Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 21 (19.05.2014 - 25.05.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 38.41 (during week No 20 the incidence was 38.76 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 462  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 20  the cases were 1 475). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (200.31 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (97.00  per 10,000).
