Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 22 (26.05.2014 - 01.06.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 38.76 (during week No 21 the incidence was 38.41 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 475  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 21 the cases were 1 462). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (178.58 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (102.53  per 10,000).
