Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 23 (02.06.2014 -08.06.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 43.09 (during week No 22 the incidence was 38.76 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 1 640  ARI cases have been reported (during week No 22 the cases were 1 475). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (240.58 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (110.20  per 10,000).
