Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 34(18.08.2014 -24.08.2014). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 24.30 (during week No 33 the incidence was 23.38 ). From a total of 380 586 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 925 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 33 the cases were 890). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (129.30  per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (46.35  per 10,000).
