Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria  was higher than medium  during week No 10 (02.03.2015-08.03.2015). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 96.86 (during week No 09 the incidence was 150.85). From a total of 384 354 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3723 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 09 the cases were 5798). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (344.28  per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (254.42 per 10,000).

Information from National Reference Laboratory of Influenza and Acute Respiratory Infections at NCIPD: During week No9 totally of 43 samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR.   7 positive results for А(Н1N1) 2009, 8 positive results for type A/H3N2 and 6 positive results for type B were detected .
