Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria  was medium  during week No 14 (30.03.2015-05.04.2015).   The total incidence per 10,000 population was 72.90 (during week No 13 the incidence was 101.55). From a total of 384 354 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2802 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 13 the cases were 3903). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (298.73 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (187.16 per 10,000).

Information from National Reference Laboratory of Influenza and Acute Respiratory Infections at NCIPD: During week No14 totally of 16 samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR.  2  positive results for type A/H3N2 and 7 positive results for type B were detected .
