Iinfluenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria  was low during week No 15 (06.04.2015-12.04.2015).   The total incidence  per 10,000 population  decreased and was 58.57 (during week No 14 the incidence was 72.90). From a total of 384 354 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2251 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 14 the cases were 2802). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (235.17 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (145.30 per 10,000).

Information from National Reference Laboratory of Influenza and Acute Respiratory Infections at NCIPD: During week No15 totally of 25 samples from suspect patients have been investigated in the NRL of Influenza and ARD by Real Time PCR.  2 positive results for А(Н1N1) 2009, 4 positive results for type A/H3N2 and 2 positive results for type B were detected .
