Week No 35

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 35 (24.08.2020-30.08.2020).  The total incidence per 10,000 population  was 11.69 (during week No 34 the incidence was 9.46). From a total of 380 356 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 445 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 34 the cases were 360). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (56.66 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (32.07 per 10,000 population).
