Week No 36

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 36 (31.08.2020-06.09.2020).  The total incidence per 10,000 population  was 11.19 (during week No 35 the incidence was 11.69). From a total of 380 356 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 426 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 35 the cases were 445). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (62.60 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (26.14 per 10,000 population).
