Week No 47

Influenza and ARI intensity in Bulgaria was low during week No 47 (16.11.2020-22.11.2020).  The total incidence per 10,000 population  was 88.66 (during week No 46 the incidence was 97.44). From a total of 399 177 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 3539 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 46 the cases were 3695). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (249.57 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (188.61 per 10,000 population).
