Week No 46

During the week No 46 (15.11.2021 - 21.11.2021) ARI and influenza intensity in Bulgaria was  decreasing compared to the previous week No 45 (08.11.2021 - 14.11.2021). The total incidence per 10,000 population was 72.52 (during week No 45 the incidence was 83,88). From a total of 379 897 persons under surveillance, belonging to all age groups, a total of 2 755 ARI cases have been reported (during week No 45 the cases were 3190). The incidence was highest in the age group 0-4 yrs (312.26 per 10,000 population), followed by age group of 5-14 yrs (167.35 per 10,000 population).
