During week №22 (27.05.2024-02.06.2024) the intensity of the epidemic process of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARD) remained at the levels of the previous week. The incidence rate is 50.12 per 10 000 people (47.08 per 10 000 people for the previous week). Among the surveillance population of 364 295 persons, 1 826 cases of ARI were recorded during the period (1 715 in the previous week). The incidence was highest in the age groups: 0-4 years (227.38 per 10,000 population) and 5-14 years (145.63 per 10,000 population). There was an increase in incidence in 11 districts compared to the previous week. 10 districts showed a continued decrease in incidence and 7 districts showed a similar level to the previous week.

The national reference laboratory has tested 12 samples, from which no influenza viruses have been isolated. No influenza viruses have been demonstrated in samples tested from children under 5 years of age, but PIV(3), AdV(3) and other(3) respiratory viruses have been isolated.
