In week No. № 30 (22.07-28.07.2024), a decrease in the number of recorded cases of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARI) compared to the previous week was reported, respectively a lower overall morbidity and by age groups. There were 1 124 cases among the surveillance population out of a total of 364 295, an incidence rate of 30,85 per 10 000 population (previous week: 1 155 registered cases, incidence rate 31,71 per 10 000). The incidence in the 0-4 age group was 144,96 per 10,000 population and in the 5-14 age group was 75,64 per 10,000 population. The level of morbidity is low, typical for the season.

4 samples were tested at the national reference laboratory, from which no influenza virus has been isolated. In samples tested from children up to 5 years of age, other respiratory viruses (3)were isolated.
