Week No 31

In the week No. 31 (29.07-04.08.2024), 1 149 cases of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARD) were registered among the monitored population of 364 295, incidence rate 31,54 per 10 000 population (for the previous week - 1 124 registered cases, incidence rate 30, 85 per 10 000 population). The incidence in the age group 0-4 years was 163.67 per 10,000 population and in the age group 5-14 years was 69.99 per 10,000 population. The level of morbidity is low, typical for the season , remaining relatively stable over the last few weeks.
Nine samples have been tested at the national reference laboratory and no influenza viruses have been isolated. No influenza viruses were detected in samples from children under 5 years of age, but PIV (2) and other (3) respiratory viruses were isolated.
