During week No. 35 (26.08-01.09.2024)), 1,325 cases of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARI) were recorded among the monitored population out of a total of 364,295, an incidence rate of 36.37 per 10,000 population (previous week - 1,335 recorded cases, an incidence rate of 33.49 per 10,000 population). The incidence in the age group 0-4 years was 172.43 per 10,000 population and in the age group 5-14 years was 76.48 per 10,000 population. The level of morbidity is typical for the season.

Eleven samples were tested at the national reference laboratory and no influenza viruses were isolated. No influenza viruses were demonstrated in samples tested from children under 5 years of age, but AdV (1) and other (1) respiratory viruses were isolated.
