During week 37 (09.09-15.09.2024), 1 417 cases of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARI) were recorded among the surveillance population of 364 295, incidence rate 38.90 per 10 000 population (previous week - 1 143 cases recorded, incidence rate 31.38 per 10 000 population). The incidence in the age group 0-4 years was 173.02 per 10,000 population and in the age group 5-14 years was 79.02 per 10,000 population. The level of morbidity shows an increase compared to the previous week's indicators, but is typical for the season. Twenty-five samples were tested at the national reference laboratory and no influenza viruses were isolated. No influenza viruses have been demonstrated in samples tested from children under 5 years of age, but AdV (1), PIV (1) and other (1) respiratory viruses have been isolated.
