During week No. 48 (25 November-1 December 2024), 3,336 cases of influenza and acute respiratory diseases (ARI) were recorded among the surveillance population of 346,739, an incidence rate of 96.21 per 10,000 (previous week - 3,379 cases recorded, an incidence rate of 97.45 per 10,000 among the surveillance population of 346,739). The national incidence rate shows no increase compared to the previous week.

117 clinical samples of ARI patients were tested by Real Time PCR at the Influenza and ARI NRL. There were 6 cases of influenza A(H3N2) virus, 2 cases of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus and 2 cases of influenza B/Victoria virus.
In children under 5 years of age, 79 clinical samples were tested. No influenza viruses were proven, but other respiratory viruses were detected: PIV(2), RSV(2), AdV(5) and other (29 ) viruses.
